We had a really great Christmas this year. (What am I saying? I think all of our Christmases are great!) We just stayed in Cali, enjoyed Christmas Eve and morning as a little family, and then joined my cousin's family for Christmas dinner. We were a little homesick this year, seeing that it's been four years since we've been home for the holiday. Okay, enough about that, let's get to the pictures!

No wonder he was so excited! Look at all of this loot! We definitely were s-p-o-i-l-e-d!
Joey really got into ripping off the wrapping paper! Once he started, there was no stopping him! However, we could tell Joey was getting overwhelmed by the end because he wouldn't even touch the last few presents. We saved those for a little later.
This was PART of the aftermath!! Thank you to everyone that sent us presents! You all were way too kind and generous! Joey can never doubt how much he is loved all over the country! :)

As for New Years Eve, we were totally lame and didn't do anything. Since we don't know too many people here and we had Joey, we decided to just stay in, make ourselves some apps, and watch the ball drop. It was nice, but lame! Or it's called "getting old"!! Ugh!
John went out with friends and I was in bed by 11pm. That was pretty good for me considering my normal bedtime is between 7:30 and 8. You guys look like you had a great time as a little family, ringing in the New Year together. Love reading up on how you guys are doing!
