Squeal!

Joey took a little while to figure out the crawling thing, but once he got it, he's always on the move!  His favorite game is to be chased!

You can chase him for a couple of feet, he'll stop, look back at you, squeal, and start going again!  It's so funny!

He also really likes to hide under the dining room table!  He often gets stuck under there.  It is so cool to see Joey developing like this.  He's SOOOO much fun now.  I would definitely choose this stage over the newborn stage anyday!

Mischief

Now that Joey is mobile, he is into everything!  Usually, after Joey wakes up for the day, or from his naps, we have a little routine:  I change his diaper, sometimes he does naked time, and then he's off to explore for about an hour or so!   He has a usual route of destruction that he follows every time...

He first stops by the bathroom to check out the tub.  Is there any bath time action going on that I'm not in on?  All of my bath toys still there?  Where's the water?  Ooooh, look I can stand up!

Next is the diaper sprayer.  OMG!  Look at this ginromous tubing that I can pull on!
What?!?!  Toilet paper?!?!  How long has this been here??  I can pull and pull and pull and it keeps going!
Time for the dining room!  Yum, yum, yum!  I love gnawing on this wooden bench and staring out of the window!  When I'm done chewing and tasting, I'm going to bang on this like it's a drum!

While Mom is in the kitchen, I'm going to crawl back to the bathroom and get that toilet paper that she took from me!  Ha ha ha!!  I'm too good!

Dang!  Busted!  Quick!  I'll stuff it all in my mouth then there won't be any proof!

Oooh, dog water bowl!  Sweet!  A mini bath tub!  The dogs and cat just love when I play in their drinking water!

I've had a busy hour exploring!  I even got my first exploratory injury on my cheek!  I was trying to climb up the shelf in my room and I fell forward!  Ouch!  I'm okay, though, and the mark is already gone!  I know that this is one of many bruises and scrapes I'm going to get!  So, you better get used to it, Mama!
