One of our good friends from Alaska, Jill, came to visit us a couple of weekends ago! It was so crazy having a visitor within a couple of months of living here, but very comforting having someone familiar nearby.
Jill's parents actually happened to be in the area, too, so we all hung out together.
We checked out a local little Christmas festival during the weekend. We (Joey, Jill, and myself) decorated some cookies...well, actually, Jill and I decorated the cookies, while Joey just ate them! We actually had to buy him a plain cookie because he wouldn't touch the cookie that we decorated! What kid doesn't like icing?!?!
There were also lots of games for the kiddos to play. Joey liked that he won suckers for entertaining Mommy and Daddy!
He really liked getting to slam this thing down to make the bean bag fly in the air. He was only given three turns and was very upset when we had to take the mallet away!
Jill was only here for the weekend, but it was a really nice visit. We're so glad that she came down to see us in our new home!
