This past Sunday, Michael and I hosted a Family Wine and Appetizer night with our Parent meetup group...and, yes, this was on the day that I was dealing with the worst.hangover.of.my.life!
I have never been so ill-prepared for a party at my house before! I still had to clean, decide what app to make, and grocery shop! This was impossible with my hangover! Luckily, I keep the house pretty clean, so tidying up was not too much of an undertaking. I never did decide what app to make, so I had Michael stop at the store on his way back from work! He was a savior and bought a meat and cheese tray and veggie tray! Perfect!
This was supposed to be an event mainly about the parents, but, like always, it was more about the babies! It actually became quite the baby play date!
This was definitely one of those "Wow, my life has changed" moments. We've had many great pre-baby parties at our house. Now, we're having baby parties! Babies roll around and play where the keg used to sit! Babies crawl where drunk adults used to, well, crawl! It's just really crazy how much your life can change in just over a year!
