This past Thursday, Joey and I went down to Byron Glacier, which is south of Anchorage. We came here last year...this was where Joey licked the glacier!
The weather was absolutely gorgeous! Joey got to walk a lot of the trail down the the actual glacier!
Joey even sat in the glacier water! It didn't even seem to bother him how cold the water was! He was actually kind of pissed at me about taking him out of the cold cold water!
So, I took Joey out of his wet clothes and let him play...in the cold, glacier water! Ha!
After the glacier hike, we went and checked out the Girdwood playground (one of those big fancy playgrounds). Joey had a great time and even got so hungry that he ate dirt!
We also got to try out on of these big red swings with no straps. Joey loved it for a minute or two. Then, he was done with this and tried to jump out. But with no straps...mama was a little stressed out! Luckily, this swing love didn't last long...for my sake!
