Prospecting

Today, April, Joey, and myself met up with my mom's group and went on a nice little hike. We started at the Prospect Heights Trailhead and hiked about 2.5-3 miles up and down a mountain!

The weather has been super crazy this summer. Take today, for example, it was gorgeous early in the morning, rainy around 11 AM, gorgeous at 1 PM, rainy at 3 PM, gorgeous at 5 PM, etc. Days like this make you crazy! You don't want to miss the opportunity to play out in the sun, but I don't want to drive 30-45 minutes into town for it to be nasty outside!

The walk was great, though! April and I were really glad that we took the chance and went because it was well worth it!


Hopefully, we can keep up with these "baby" hikes, so this baby weight falls off my butt a little quicker!
