Book Party

A local Anchorage organization, Thread, threw a book party for children this past Friday. If you attended the event, your child would receive four free age-appropriate books! How cool is that?

I'm pretty sure the books were used, but they were all in great shape! You also got to pick what books you wanted out of a big heap of books!

There was also live music, story time, finger painting, snacks, and games for the kids! Joey was a little too young for most of the activities, but he did seem to like looking around at everyone and everything.

This program is also affiliated with the Dolly Parton Imagination Library program. When you register your child into this program, they will receive one free book every month until they turn five years old! Luckily, we found out about this program right now, so Joey will get a new book from 3 months until 5 years! That's about 57 books, give or take one or two! How awesome is that?!?!

Joey was so ecstatic about all of this news that he started sucking on his hands!

P.S.- We think Joey may be a thumb sucker!

  1. I may be bias, but I think Joey has the most beautiful eyes! Along with the rest of him! I love the picture with him in the wrap with just his nose and eyes showing. He looks so happy and loving life! You guys are doing a great job!
